Planner

Pick a Unit

Start at the top and follow the branch that matches the job. Every branch ends on a unit, and the ledger underneath has the side-by-side if you would rather just read it.

From the job to the unit

Start here

Is this a job site with a crew on it, or an event with guests at it?

If it is a job site

Standards, one per ten workers, plus a hand-wash station per three units. Add an accessible unit if the public can reach the site.

If it is an event, who is using it?

A crowd at a public event, or invited guests at something private?

Crowd at a public event

Banks of standards sized to the gate count, one accessible unit per eight, and hand-wash stations per three restrooms.

Invited guests at something private

How much does the restroom matter to the impression? That is the whole question.

The spec ledger

Six questions asked of all five units. If you only read one thing on this page, read the last row.

Now the count

Know the unit, need the number?

The other planner turns a headcount and a duration into restrooms, accessible units and hand-wash stations.

How many units?

Straight answers

Choosing between them

Standard versus deluxe: what actually changes?
The deluxe flushes and carries its own hand-wash basin. The standard does neither. Everything else about the rental is identical.
At what point does a restroom trailer make sense?
When guests will judge it — weddings, hospitality, and venues that will not take standard units in a public sightline. It needs a tow route, level ground and power.
When does an ADA accessible unit become necessary on my order?
On anything open to the public, yes, and at a ratio of one per eight standard units otherwise. Placement matters as much as the count.
Is a hand-wash station separate from the toilets?
Yes — it is a free-standing double basin that goes beside or at the end of a bank of units, never in front of a door.
Can one order combine more than a single type of unit?
That is what most orders are: a bank of standards, an accessible unit at the end nearest the parking, a hand-wash station to the side, and a deluxe or two if guests are involved.
Which unit for a long job site?
Standards, one per ten workers, on a monthly rate, plus a hand-wash station per three units and an accessible unit if the site is open to the public.
